Rosemary by Effanbee Doll Co New York, New York., U.S.A. She is marked Effanbee Rosemary Walk, Talk,Sleep Made in the USA. She has blue tin sleep eyes, real eyelashes, painted lower lashes, feather stroked brows, open mouth with 4 upper teeth
and tongue. Her head (shoulder plate), arms and legs are made of composition and are attached to a cloth body. Rosemary has a replacement wig and she has all over crazing. Rosemary is the first of the slimmer Mama dolls made in the 1920s. Prior to her, all Mama dolls were plump little things.
This vintage Effanbee dolls cloth body does have some small areas of staining here and there as you can see in her photographs. And her Mama cryer box no longer
works. She is sewn at the joints which allows her arms and legs to move easily. I will ship her to you in the dress I have had her in for the 25 years I have owned her. |
