| Product Details | | This is a very pretty silver plated teapot. The only marks on it are 31 4 but it was very tarnished when I got it and it polished right up. There is a lot of detail on the handle and the body of this pretty little teapot. It has a black wooden knob with a little silver finial. It has a tea leaf catcher on the inside and
measures about 7 1/2" tall. It will hold about 5 cups. |

This is a very pretty silver plated teapot. The teapot is in good vintage condition. This vintage Sheffield plate tea pot measures 10 1/2"H to top of handle.
There is a lot of detail on this vintage silver plated teapot. It originally went with one of the tabletop warmers such as the copper teapot that I have. Yet I do not have those pieces with this teapot. Hallmarks are "Sheffield EPNS 1826" with 'RR' in shield at top. I don't believe that this is antique Sheffield plate as it does not have the assay marks that I would expect to see on Sheffield Plate, it is probably one of the 'knockoff' pieces that were being made at the
time. I will continue to research the mark and will post any new information here. The base has a little ripple in it, I tried to straighten it out and did some good but I don't want to do any damage so I stopped while I was ahead. It sits level on a table and the ripple is only on one side. The plate is worn on the knob of the lid... which is hinged. This is a great piece for the teapot collector. |

reproduction piece but stunning none the less. It has a tea leaf catcher inside, beautiful detailing all over. This silver plated tea pot has a melon shape and a melon knob on the lid. The lid is hinged. It is marked SP in a shield, EP Copper, Old English Reproduction, Made in Canada 180. The teapot measures approximately 11 inches by 7 inches. No dents or dings, very clean inside and out. This is a great piece for the teapot collector. |
