My Granny's Attic Antiques, Collectibles & more Shop News November 2003 Granny is Back !! I never really went anywhere but I did move the shop and I lost track of a few of you in the shuffle. I completely changed the look and feel of the web site and since I did it all myself it has taken a lot longer than anticipated to get everything up and running again. There are still some little bugs to work out and some interactive features that I still want to add,
but it will all happen in due time. I would like to encourage each of you to join our MSN Group, there is a link on the bottom of every page on the website - www.mygrannysatticantiques.com. This can grow into a wonderful forum to discuss our antiques & collectibles, swap and barter and for each of you to share your vast knowledge with others and learn new things concerning the world of antiques & collectibles.

I have located a few terrific online shopping sites so be sure to visit our Premier Partners Page for really unique websites to do some holiday
shopping, especially if you have children on your shopping list. Granny's Helpful Hints: I finally got sick to death of all of the telephone solicitor phone calls coming into my home. Since I work at home and usually answer my phone when it rings, there were days when I would get 10 solicitation calls a day. It was bad and getting worse. So I finally registered with the National Do Not Call
Registry - https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx If you register now, telemarketers MUST stop calling & you can file a complaint in 3 months. I highly recommend registering, it has made me a much happier and more productive person. Need a good laugh? Even after my head stopped spinning, all that I could smell was bleach. So I set out on a mission to find a less noxious cleaning method .... and here it is. 1 cup white vinegar 1 cup Borax powder 2 cups warm water Stir vigorously until the Borax
dissolves. This will make 1.5 quarts of solution. Then fill a spray bottle. If you use a recycled bottle, clean it thoroughly and rinse with a 3-1 mixture of hot water and white vinegar. Apply generously over the mildew spot. Let it stand for 10 minutes, then sponge and rinse. This works well in the shower on grout too. I hope that you take a moment to visit the shop. I have a poll set up to get your opinion and as always please feel free to e-mail me with
suggestions, questions or needs. I have a little surprise for you as you checkout if you make a purchase a 10% discount !! Sincerely & many thanks, Michelle www.Mygrannysatticantiques.com - An eclectic shop with an eccentric owner |
