| 1st trademark used - Laughlin China in a horse shoe | After 1890 to 1900 - American Eagle carrying the lion | 1900 - to date - HLC with variations | 1981 - Holloware items are marked with a raised logo | Many times the name of the dish shape will be on the bottom of the dish, this is mistaken for the pattern name. Decals in a variety of shapes and styles were used on a particular dish shape. There are numerous Homer Laughlin marks. started using a series of numbers to indicate the month, the second single number is for the year and the third number is for the plant it was made in. | EXAMPLE: 1900 - 1909; 74L = July 1904 factory on the east end of town | 1910 - 1920; the first
figure = month, the next two numbers are the year and the third is the plant | 1921 - 1930; a letter was used to indicate the month, the next single number was the year, and the last is the plant. | 1931 - 1969; the month is a letter and the year is two digits. Plant 4=N, Plant 5=R, Plant 6 & 7=C, Plant

1930 - - Flight of the Swallows

1933 - Virginia Rose - 1959 sold through Woolsworth Stores
- Century Shape - A square shape with numerous decals including English Garden, Briar Rose

1935 - Nautilus Eggshell - It came in decorations known as Georgian, Nautilus, Swing, and Theme and sold very well as a replacement for the fine European china that could not be transported across the Atlantic under wartime conditions. Many decals used including Apple Blossom

1936 - Fiesta - - 1973; Green, blue, yellow, and red. Other colors were added - ivory (1936), turquoise (1938) rose, grey, chartreuse, olive green (1943) and more colors later on. Designed by Fredrick Rhead an English Stoke on Trent potter. Fiesta Red was discontinued in 1943 because the color was
manufactured from uranium oxide, which was taken over by the government in wartime. It returned to the market in 1959. Several special pieces were offered for sale at .98 each such as a 7 piece juice set, refrigerator dish set, handled chop plate and pie plate.

Woolworth's 100 Anniversary - In 4 colors, 3 of which matched the original colors the salmon was a little darker in color.

Fiesta - Reissue, 1986. The colors are slightly different and the mark is different even though it is only a slight difference. There are also pieces produced in the new issue that were not in the original issue of Fiesta.
