white plates and photographs. Mapped endpapers, and frontispiece illustration. Red heavy cover embossed gilt titles on front cover and spine and a large gilt amd embossed TWA emblem on front cover. Excellent history of one of the pioneering U.S. airlines, TWA. Nice tight binding, with a line of pin holes along the edge of the spine, there is also evidence the some moisture had at one time been on the outer edges of a few of the last pages. There is no mildew or mold but some
minor wrinkling of the pages. This is a nice copy of this very hard to find book. |

Hardback book with a blue cloth cover gilt text
no dustjacket. Includes numerous black and white photographs and illustrations as well as an inserted newspaper clipping written by the author. 342 pages. This vintage collectible signed book is near mint condition except for the missing dustjacket. There is minimal wear to the edges and corners. This book is about the mining town of Cripple Creek during its heydays in the late 1800's and early 1900's. | |
