Jr. , David R. Martin Jr. and Douglas L. Oliver and published by G.P. Putnam's Sons New York - London in 1928. Featuring 149 pages of classic scouting history and adventure including 44 illustrations, most being B/W photographs. Text is extraordinarily clean and free from marks, while the green cloth boards show some minor shelf wear. Binding is slightly loose for first few pages only.
This First edition (as stated) Antique Book is the true story is of three Boy Scouts
who won a competition to go on an African Safari. Their hosts were Mr. & Mrs. Martin Johnson who were in Africa for 9 years making moving pictures, including Simba.
