This is a beautiful book of flowers with several color plates of watercolor pictures of flowers in color and black and white. Hardback with dustjacket both in very good condition. 209 pages. A wonderful book for the gardener or if you want you could frame the botanical like prints inside. This is a really attractive book, with
lovely color plates by the author and detailed pen and ink drawings throughout the text. Long considered a classic treatment of the subject, and now extensively revised and enlarged, for those with large or small gardens, he describes the amazing number of trees, shrubs, plants and bulbs which are availabe to provide color in bloom, berry and foliage in gardens during the winter. It has a sheet inside indicating that it is a review copy. |
