Shipping/Handling Policy:We prefer to ship Priority Mail and the shipping prices given are for Priority Mail however, we will leave the shipping method up to you. Please just communicate with me what you want. If you order several items and feel that the calculated charge
is too high please contact me for an adjustment. We will ship overnight if you need us to. Please call to make arrangements for this method of shipping. The cost is quite a bit more and I will need to go to the shipper to calculate the cost. For our customer's overseas we will get the actual cost of postage + insurance (if available in your area) for you. When I receive your order I will respond back to you with your charges.
We prefer to insure all of the breakable and fragile items we mail, go here to see postal insurance rates. We appreciate the Postal Service but they can get pretty rough with boxes. All items are lovingly packaged to ensure safe delivery. But we assume no responsibility if breakage occurs and you opted to not insure. The decision to not insure breakable items
invalidates the refund option. Privacy Policy:We don't like spam or unsolicited snail mail, phone calls, etc., so don't worry, we WILL NOT share your information with anyone. This is a promise. Your e-mail address will be retained by Granny to send you shop updates about 4 times a year and you always have to option to tell her to take you off
the list, she will too. Refund Policy:- Items are sold in as-is condition and may be returned only if the condition in the description is misrepresented. You must contact me within 5 days of receipt of your intent to send it back and state my misrepresentation of the item. Returns MUST be received within 10 days of your receipt date (I have confirmation on all deliveries). Please read the descriptions carefully before purchasing. Original item must be returned (insured) in its original package & in the same condition as we sold it in, before a refund or replacement is provided. A refund or credit is made for the purchase price only. We will not refund the shipping cost. Refunds are made by the method in which you paid for the item, ie: you paid by Paypal I will refund via Paypal, etc. There is also a 20% restocking fee.
- If an item was damaged in route, and it was not insured by you.... I cannot do anything
about this. I apologize but it is out of my hands. I will no longer issue refunds for this.
- If the item was damaged in route and it was insured, contact us and we will follow the procedure outlined by the Post Office. DO NOT SEND IT BACK TO US!! It is a matter of paperwork for us both. We are fair and honest people and expect the same from our customers. We want all transactions to be smooth and comfortable for everyone. *
Feb. 2006 - I have deviated from my refund policy on several occassions recently and I am being taken advantage of so I have made the decision to strictly adhere to my policy from this point forward. In all cases we provide detailed descriptions of any observed faults and additional photographs of any item can be emailed to you on
request. Any item that is new or a reproduction piece will have this stated clearly in the description of the item. - UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE I ONLY HAVE 1 (ONE) OF EACH ITEM IN THE SHOP AND ALL ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO PRIOR SALE. I mark items sold within a few hours of them selling but sometimes 2 folks order the same thing within minutes of each other, the first order to me gets the item.
If for some reason they do not follow through with the purchase the second person will be contacted. The shopping cart marks the time on all purchases.
We make every possible attempt to accurately describe each item, its flaws and defects, if any. Please ask questions before you purchase an item. We will address those questions to the best of our ability. If we don't know something, we will tell you.
