This pair of vintage bookends are adorable!!! The base and back are pot metal that has been painted black. The bronze Scotty Dog and Frog are bronze and are afixed with a screw and nut onto the base. Both of these vintage bookends have the felt on the bottom. These wonderful antique metal bookends are 4" wide, 3 3/4" deep and 4 1/4" tall. I love the way the dog is gazing down at the frog..... These amazing bookends are in very good condition. There is one tiny little place behind one of the scottie - scottie dogs where the black paint has worn away but there are no other worn spots, dents, dings or scratches through the paint. My aunt was told that these were made by Bradley Hubbard by an "appraiser" but I cannot find their mark anywhere. I took the felt off of the bottom of one (I did replace it) and still no marks. Looking closely at the back of the dogs I can see what can be construed as markings but I cannot make them out. Bradley Hubbard has several very precise marks which I cannot find on these pieces.

are adorable!!! These German Shepard bookends are made of bronze and have a lot of detail. Neither of these vintage bookends have the felt on the bottom but that is easily solved with hobby store felt or the felt dots. These wonderful antique metal bookends measure 4 1/2" wide, 2 1/4" deep and 5"
tall. These amazing bookends are in very good condition. There are no worn spots, dents, dings or scratches.
