I have a large folio Currier and Ives lithograph not in the greatest of condition but I do believe it is an original. My mother passed away and I know she had it for years. I remember somewhere back in the 80s she turned down a five [or maybe] six thousand dollar offer for it. I am not sure if it was in the same condition. I think it might have received some damage over the years which is such a shame. I am looking to have it verified as an original before I sell it. It is called the Old Grist Mill and was originally drawn in 1862 by GH Dorrie. Any ideas as to how to actually go about doing this?

If this is an authentic piece any damage will drastically reduce the value.

I suggest finding an appraiser who specializes in art to look at it.
