I have 6 cups and 6 saucers with "G1157" stamped on the bottom.  I was told by my father that his step father bought them over 50 years ago in Holland for my grandmother.  According to my father, his step father collected fine china, and thought that these were of value.  I admit that I am no expert by any stretch of one's imagination, but the birds look Japanese. Any help will be appreciated.

To me the mark looks like a Lefton mark, there may have been a paper or foil lable on it at one time. I would price this in the shop at $18-$25
