help identifying H circled C M pottery maker's mark

hi, very new, was hoping for help with a maker's mark. Item is a softball size cabbage shaped covered bowl, with maker's mark H C M, and the c is circled, almost like a copyright symbol. gorgeous item, bought it at an estate sale with many vintage and antique items. Can anyone help me identify this guy? would appreciate the help.
