please take a look I am trying to find out what time period this is from and who the maker is. there are no marks on the back just stamped GERMANY in the lower right. Front looks like it had gold on the edge at one point but its almost all worn off now. Thank you for any info.

Pinning it down to a specific manufacturer is difficult but it was probably created for the home porcelain painter. This was a popular hobby from the mid 1800's through the 1950's and is now seeing a resurgence in popularity.
