I want to thank all of you for continuing to visit the forum, post your antique related questions and help each other find answers. It may not look like it but I do drop in from time to time, several times a week but I don't get many opportunities to answer many questions.
The LIVE storefront antique shop is doing well and I am staying so busy with it that I don't have time for much else. I am still working on the new website... I have had a run of bad luck hiring people to design it and make it what I want. I am getting close and am slowly getting inventory moved over.
Of course I can't just be content in running a business, I am trying to get new events and activities into our old downtown area where my shop is located. I am dealing with a bunch of apathetic merchants and an even more apathetic city. Thank goodness I am hard headed and the more you tell me no, the more determined I become. I have lived in this area (3 blocks from my store) for 23 years and it saddens me that no one wants to see the area become a thriving and vital part of the community like it once was.
I just want you to know that I am still around and kicking. If you are ever in the Lenexa, Kansas area drop by the store and say hi. We are at 9230 Pflumm Rd. in Old Town Lenexa.
