I have a very old sampler in the original frame made by a girl who I found was born in Dec 1756. Since girls made these when they were about 11 years old, I'm guessing the year it was made would be in 1768. The name of the girl is: "Rhoda Dean Tilden" the problem is, she didn't put a date on the sampler. I googled the name & found the girls birth date, and some other info on her. I need to know if this sampler would be very valuable since there's no date on it? It's in very good condition.
Thank you

Samplers are very collectible and a date adds to the value. Reproductions are rampant but you can tell if it is old by the backing material used and thread also showing appropriate signs of age.
